Release Changes:

The Combat Overhaul is almost finished. 

Added Yilani's Drops

Finally added loot drops for Yilani. These are:

  1. Yilani's Staff
  2. Bones

Yilani's Staff is a fairly powerful mid-end game level Staff. It requires 40 Magic to wield it, and does some really good damage.

Added Keltone's Drops

I also added the loot drops for Keltone. These are:

  1. Keltone's Sword
  2. Keltone's Bones

Keltone's Sword is a great sword for mid-end game Players. It requires 50 Attack to wield it, and does good damage.

Tweaked Durgginn's Sword Stats

Durgginn's Sword had a few misplaced and miscalculated values in its loot creation. That's been fixed, so it's now a better weapon.

Tweaked Bones' Bow Colors

Decided to update Bones' Bow to better match the rest of the Boss Mob's loot drops. Since Bones was the first Boss to be created, it means he hadn't seen some of the changes that came with the later bosses. With this update that changed.

Added Bones' Arrows Drop

Bones got a new loot drop: Arrows. They are styled in his scheme, and come in bunches of 50.

Added Wards for Necromancer's and Yilani's Staffs

When adding the new Staffs I forgot about the Player being able to use them. So this update fixes that. Each boss staff now has a unique Ward.

Boss Mobs now Use their Dropped Weapons

Boss Mobs will no longer randomly generate their Weapons and Arrows. They will use the actual weapons you'll be able to loot when you defeat them.

Bosxix Has Been Added

The sixth and final Boss has been added: Bosxix. An Archer from a distant land, come to seek the glory of conquering the dungeon. Be careful though, his Bow and Arrows are crafted from the materials of his homeland; Foreign and powerful materials. It will take a skilled fighter to take him down and claim his weapons.

Added Bosxix's Drops

With a new boss comes new drops:

  1. Bosxix's Bow
  2. Bosxix's Arrows
  3. Bones

Bosxix's Bow and Arrows are a very powerful combination. Together, they give the Player the highest Damage value currently available. But, with only 50 Arrows dropped per kill, these aren't Arrows you'll want to waste.

Altered Combat Loot Generation

A small change both for performance and gameplay reasons. In short; The Mob's Equipment will now roll before the Mob's Base Drops. This ensures any equipment you could get isn't replaced by a junk item like Bones or Ashes. This doesn't impact Boss Mobs, as their Weapons aren't added to the equipment list.

Changed No Weapon Damage Bonus Values

When in combat without a Weapon, you'll use your Fists instead. Originally, there was a big penalty for doing that. With the new Health system, that wasn't necessary so I simply gave Fists the same buffs as Melee on the Offensive side. However, on the Defensive side, Fists now have a Buff of 1 across the board. So you get no Bonus or DeBuff based on Attack Type.

  • Fixed Missing Spell Textures for Necromancer's Staff
  • Fixed Switched Buff Values for Necromancer's Staff
  • Fixed Item Information Text Wrapping on Loadout Screen
  • Fixed Weapon/Arrows Not Being Given to Mobs
  • Fixed Arrows not adding to Ranged Damage
